Sandler brings Zohan to Berlin
Adam Sandler has been in Berlin for the premiere of his latest film, You Don't Mess with the Zohan.
In the movie, Sandler plays Zohan Dvir, a top Israeli secret agent and ladies man who fakes his death to pursue his dream as a hairdresser in New York.
But he has an enemy in Palestinian counterpart The Phantom, and their rivalry plays on the current Middle East conflict.
Sandler admitted: "When I first started thinking of this idea for this movie, my family was like 'you don't want to do this movie, you can't make jokes about that situation' and I heard that a lot.
"But ultimately I knew the movie was about peace and wanting everyone to get along. So I thought this was a good movie even though people might get offended along the way."
You Don't Mess with the Zohan opens in UK cinemas on August 15.
