Madonna escapes jury service

Pop queen Madonna has reportedly escaped jury service in Los Angeles.
The star reported for duty at the Beverly Hills Courthouse, but a judge dismissed her just after lunch.

She was officially permitted to leave after only one member of the jury was requested.
Madonna apparently changed outfits during her lunch break, from a brown velour tracksuit to a pair of black trousers and a black jacket.
The singer is due to release a new album and a greatest hits collection later this year.
She recently directed her first movie Filth And Wisdom, which was unveiled at the Berlin Film Festival earlier this month.
