Myleene's turning mummy

Myleene Klass is expecting her first child, it has been announced.

Her spokesman said the Model and singer is "ecstatically happy" at the news.

The father, Graham Quinn, met Klass in 2001 when he worked as a bodyguard for her former group Hear'Say.

In a statement, she said: "Graham and I are ecstatically happy. We've always wanted a family of our own.

"I am truly delighted and know Graham will make a fantastic father."

Her spokesman added: "They are engaged but not going to get married this year now, probably next year. They are going to have the baby first."

The classically trained singer first came to the public's attention as part of band Hear'Say when the band won TV reality show Popstars in 2001.

The 28-year-old more recently appeared in I'm A Celebrity ... Get Me Out of Here! in which she came second.
