Woods on course
Tiger Woods only managed nine holes in his first practice round before the US Open begins in California.
The world number one's recovering from knee surgery and he hasn't played in a tournament since the Masters in April.
But he seemed fit as he warmed up at Torrey Pines.
Woods will be playing alongside Phil Mickelson and Adam Scott in the first two rounds of the US Open.
They are currently ranked second and third in the world behind Woods.
Fellow players KJ Choi and Michael Campbell were both impressed by their first sight of the course.
Choi said: "It's good. It looks, the course is in very good shape."
Campbell added: "The rough is always up, it's tough but the greens are always firm and fast you know and even par, or maybe three or four over, might win this week."
