Paltrow to film series on Spain

Gwyneth Paltrow is planning to film a US television series about Spain.

The Oscar-winning actress, who is a fluent Spanish speaker, will travel around the country and check out the food and culture for the programme entitled Spain... On The Road Again.

At a press launch in Madrid, she said: "I don't know what we are going to do, but it is going to be fun."

The 35-year-old will be travelling with New York Times food critic Marc Bittman, chef Mario Batali and Spanish actress Claudia Bassols.

The 13-part series will be shown on the PBS network in the US in both English and Spanish. Deals to show the programmes in Spain and Latin America are being negotiated.
