Iraq blast kills ten and injures dozens

A bomb in a parked car in central Baghdad has killed ten people and wounded 66, police have said.
Witnesses described a cloud of brown smoke rising over the area at a busy crossroads on the east side of the Tigris river in the centre of the Iraqi capital.
Police said the victims were civilians, with at least one woman and a child among the dead

The bomb struck while many in the city were attending Friday prayers.
Overall violence in Iraq has fallen in recent months, but attacks still continue against civilians, Iraqi and US troops and neighbourhood patrols recruited to fight militants.
