Oceans Thirteen tops US box office
Ocean's Thirteen has topped the US box office after clocking up over £18.9 million during its opening weekend.
The all-star blockbuster knocked Pirates Of The Caribbean: At World's End into second place after dominating the top spot over the last two weeks.
The opening weekend pulled in roughly the same amount as the previous two Ocean films when they were first screened
The first, Ocean's Eleven, took around £226 million at the box office, while Ocean's Twelve made a further £182 million.
Ocean's Thirteen sees George Clooney team up with director Steven Soderbergh for a franchise inspired by the 1960 "Rat Pack" adventure starring Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Sammy Davis Jr.
It is the latest in a flurry of big-studio sequels to arrive in cinemas since the unofficial start of the US summer movie season last month, following Spider-Man 3 and Shrek The Third.
