US superstar Mariah Carey may be about to follow in the footsteps of Angelina and Madonna and adopt a child from abroad.
According to gossip website The Scoop the singer has been spotted visiting an orphanage in Mexico with her lawyer.

But Carey's people are refusing to comment.
Meanwhile, the pop queen was recently launched as the face of London-inspired fashion brand Pinko.
Although the exact figure for Mariah's deal with Pinko has not been revealed, a spokeswoman described it as "a very, very big deal."
The new campaign, which will be featured in 750 stores worldwide, was shot by renowned photographer Michelangelo Di Battista.
