A sunny start to this year's reading Festival saw around 80,000 music fans head to the Berkshire countryside.

The east Londoner, who scored a recent number one hit with Dance Wiv Me, was inspired to bare his chest when a female fan flashed him.

Political US rockers Rage Against The Machine however, were in the mood to dress up, donning Guantanamo Bay-style prison overalls to attack the Bush regime.

The Killers and The Manic Street Preachers were set to go head to head on Saturday night, headlining the festival's Main Stage and NME/Radio 1 stage respectively.

And heavy metal survivors Metallica were due to bring the event to a close on Sunday night.
