Allen Stanford is still negotiating in the hope his winner-takes-all cricket match can go ahead.

Stanford must resolve a sponsorship row to allow the match between England and the West Indies All-Stars to go ahead next month.

Stanford does not want the West Indies All-Stars team to play in the West Indies kit

The match has attracted attention because the winning team will receive a prize of $20 million.

Stanford does not want the West Indies All-Stars team to play in the West Indies kit because he planned to negotiate his own shirt sponsorship for the match.

But the West Indies Cricket Board may not sanction the match unless their kit and sponsors appear.

Without the WICB support, the West Indies' centrally contracted players will not be able to play and the match will not be recognised by the International Cricket Council, who could ban those who play from taking part in future internationals.
