Rangers stay top
Kris Boyd claimed his 18th goal of the season as Rangers restored their four-point lead at the top of the Scottish Premier League with victory over Aberdeen.
Rangers knew the pressure was on following Celtic's win at Hibernian earlier in the day and Christian Dailly marked his Ibrox debut with the equaliser before goals from Charlie Adam and Boyd sealed the win.
The Dons were the last team to take points off Rangers in the SPL back in January and they looked set to throw a spanner in the works once again when Steve Lovell claimed the opener.
Lee Naylor's first goal for Celtic had helped the champions to victory over Hibernian at Easter Road in the lunchtime kick-off.
The 27-year-old English defender, who had failed to notch since his arrival from Wolves in August 2006, drove home the opener in the 64th minute following a surging run from the middle of the park.
Celtic substitute Georgios Samaras, on for Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink in the 72nd minute, scored three minutes later from an Aiden McGeady cross to secure the points.
In the day's other SPL games, Falkirk drew 0-0 with Motherwell, Inverness lost 3-0 at home to Hearts and Kilmarnock beat St Mirren 1-0.
