Harry Redknapp has been released from custody, after being questioned by police investigating corruption in football.

The Portsmouth manager and chief executive Peter Storrie were among five men arrested on Wednesday in a series of raids across the country.

"We all helped the police with their enquiries, but it doesn't directly concern me, it's other people involved" - Harry Redknapp

Redknapp said he believed his release from Chichester police station was "the end of it".

He said: "We all helped the police with their enquiries, but it doesn't directly concern me, it's other people involved."

Redknapp confirmed that as well as himself, Milan Mandaric and Peter Storrie had also been arrested.

City of London Police have held five men - aged from 30 to 69 - on suspicion of conspiracy to defraud and false accounting.
