Charles and Camilla to become grandparents

Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall are to become grandparents.

Camilla's son Tom Parker Bowles, 32, and his wife Sara Buys, 34, are expecting their first child.

Tom, a columnist for the Mail on Sunday's Live magazine, said: "We have told our friends and family and they are all delighted. Mummy is absolutely over the moon at the prospect of being a grandmother."

Fashion journalist Sara, who is reportedly three months pregnant, added: "It is the best news ever and we are thrilled."

He added: "Sara is going for another scan next week and we're hoping everything will be fine. I'm very excited and honestly don't mind if it's a boy or a girl, as long as the baby is healthy."

Camilla, 59, has been convalescing after a recent hysterectomy operation.
