Clooney cracks a rib in bike crash
George Clooney and a female companion are recovering after being injured when their motorcycle collided with a car in New York.
Heart-throb Clooney suffered a broken rib and scrapes while his passenger, Sarah Larson, broke her foot in the collision on Friday afternoon.
Clooney's spokesman, Stan Rosenfield said: "He's doing fine. He has a broken rib, it's very painful and it'll take a long time to heal."
The actor and Ms Larson had sped up to pass on the right of a car that was preparing to make a right turn, according to local police officer Sergeant Sean Kelly. Both were wearing helmets. The accident is under investigation.
Clooney is in the New York area to film Burn After Reading, co-starring Brad Pitt, John Malkovich and Frances McDormand.
