Opinion was divided on the outfit chosen by Best supporting actress winner Tilda Swinton.
Her John Galliano for Christian Dior Couture mustard jacket was adorned with what she likened to giant "eyelashes", while her skirt was so tight she struggled to climb the steps to the stage.
"Proof that I'm astonished - I would never have worn this skirt," she said of her win.
