Billie Piper eye scare
Former Dr Who star Billie Piper has been treated in hospital after reportedly being temporarily blinded.
The actress could barely open her eyes after waking up from a night out at a restaurant.
The TV star was taken to hospital by her boyfriend Laurence Fox, after it was feared that paparazzi using flash photography to take pictures of Piper, had caused damage to her vision.
London's Moorfields eye hospital carried out checks on the 24-year-old, but Billie and Laurence were later reassured by doctors that no permanent damage had occurred.
Meanwhile, it looks like Piper is still planning on getting married this year.
According to reports, the actress is set to wed her actor beau on Christmas Eve in the Cotswolds, after the couple postponed their plans for a summer ceremony.
