Noel Gallagher voted coolest guy
Rocker Noel Gallagher has been voted the coolest guy in Britain.
The 40-year-old Oasis star topped the poll of young men, beating of competition from Arctic Monkey frontman Alex Turner and hardman actor Ray Winstone.
Zoo magazine's 100 Coolest British Men of 2007, put Liverpool footballer Steven Gerrard in second place followed by Doctor Who star David Tennant.
James Bond actor Daniel Craig bagged the fourth spot on the list, with David Beckham coming in fifth and Formula One star Lewis Hamilton taking sixth place.
Comedians Simon Pegg and Ricky Gervais, Sports Personality of the Year winner Joe Calzaghe and singer Turner brought completed the top ten line-up.
But Noel's brother Liam missed out on a prime spot, scrapping in at number 22.
Zoo editor Ben Todd said: "These inaugural awards have revealed some quite surprising results with Noel Gallagher, who has acquired something of an 'elder statesman' role, topping the poll.
"It shows that he is someone young people today strive to be like - perhaps even more so than when Oasis dominated the charts a decade ago."
The list also included Sir Paul McCartney at 55, Sir Mick Jagger at 73, Prince Harry at 37, and Simon Cowell at number 98.
