Relegation battle ends in draw

Wigan are six points clear of the Premiership relegation zone after a 1-1 draw at bottom club Watford.

Caleb Folan equalised shortly before half-time
Darius Henderson put the home side ahead after 24 minutes and it seemed for a while Aidy Boothroyd's team would leapfrog Charlton and West Ham.
But Caleb Folan equalised shortly before half-time to give Paul Jewell's team some breathing space.
Wigan could have taken the lead in the second half when Denny Landzaat raced into the penalty area but Ben Foster saved his shot while Emile Heskey looked better placed.
