ITN Board

Mark Wood has been Chief Executive since June 2003 and Chairman since July 1998. He was previously Editor-In-Chief of Reuters from 1989 to 2000, in charge of the company's news and television operations worldwide. In 2000 he took charge of Reuters strategic media investments and alliances.

Mike Stewart has been on the ITN Board since November 1999. He is Managing Director of Teletext, part of the Daily Mail and General Trust group. He joined Teletext from Philips in 1997. Other directorships include Teletext Holdings Ltd, DMG Broadcasting Ltd and Greenland Interactive.

Mike Green joined the board in July 2004. He began his television career in 1989 with TVS Television after 11 years with KPMG. He joined Carlton Television in May 1992. Following the Carlton/Granada merger in February 2004, Mike was appointed Finance Director of the ITV Broadcasting Division.

James Tibbetts joined the ITN board in April 2006. James has been Company Secretary of ITV plc since December 2003. Prior to that time James was director of Group Treasury and Investor Relations for Granada plc and has held a number of other positions within the Granada Group since joining in 1977, including Deputy Company Secretary and Group Legal Manager. He was a director of British Sky Broadcasting plc from 1992 to 1994.

Richard Kerr has been Head of Group Development at UBM since 2004. He is responsible for managing UBM's various acquisitions and disposals. Previously, Richard worked for Lehman Brothers, Flemings and Prebon Group.

Geert Linnebank joined the board of ITN in January 2007. Geert was made Senior Advisor to Tom Glocer, the CEO of Reuters in January 2007. Geert joined Reuters in 1983 as the Brussels correspondent from AP-Dow Jones. In 2000 he was made Editor-in-Chief of Reuters worldwide. Geert is Chairman of The Reuters Foundation, the charitable arm of Reuters.
