Daley increases Olympic workload
Olympic hopeful Tom Daley has taken advantage of the school holidays to step up his training.
The 13-year-old will be one of the youngest-ever British Olympians when he competes in Beijing later this year.
He usually trains for three hours a day, six days a week, but he has been able to double that workload during the delayed Easter break.
Daley said: "When I'm in Easter holidays, I train six hours a day and have Saturday off but when I'm at school I have to train three hours a day with Saturday off."
Daley is already European champion diving off the 10-metre platform but he is playing down talk of winning an Olympic medal this year.
He said: "My aim for Beijing is to go there, have fun, hopefully do a good performance, and by the time London 2012 comes around I'll have an Olympic experience under my belt and that's where I'm going to go for the medals."
