Romney backs McCain

Former Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney has endorsed one-time rival Senator John McCain.
Mr Romney and Mr McCain had tangled bitterly during the campaign as they fought for their party's nomination.

But after a string of losses Romney dropped out of the race last Thursday.
Mr McCain, 71, is runaway favourite to take the Republican nomination for this year's US Presidential election, but did suffer some embarrassing losses to rival Mike Huckabee over the weekend.
