Wales beaten in Holland friendly

The long run of Wales clean sheets came to an end as they were beaten 2-0 by Holland in a friendly in Rotterdam.

After four games without conceding a goal, the former Chelsea winger Arjen Robben finally beat Wayne Hennessey, scoring on the break just before half-time.

Jason Koumas was named Wales captain for the first time

His Real Madrid team-mate Wesley Sneijder scored from a free-kick in the second half.

Jason Koumas was named Wales captain for the first time and Craig Bellamy came on as a late substitute to earn his 51st cap.

Bellamy forced the Holland goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar to make one save with his legs.
