Chelsea to discuss deals with stars
Chelsea chief executive Peter Kenyon is keen to offer Frank Lampard and Didier Drogba new contracts.
Both players have been linked with moves to other clubs.
Kenyon says Lampard wants to stay despite reports claiming he could buy himself out of his current deal 12 months early, while Drogba said soon after Jose Mourinho left Chelsea that he wants to move on in the summer.
However, Kenyon believes he can persuade both players their long-term futures lie at Stamford Bridge.
Kenyon said: "Frank has made the comments that he wants to stay. We've both decided we'll put it behind us until the end of the season. He's still got a year left on his contract. He is a great player by anybody's standards and of course we would like him to see his career out with us.
"Again Didier has come out and said that he was misquoted and we're not going to talk about that. Didier has got two years left on his contract and there is no reason why he shouldn't remain a Chelsea player."
