Dare-devil surfers chase adrenalin buzz

Gales which lashed Britain's coastline at the weekend also brought some huge waves for thrill-seeking surfers.

Big wave rider Duncan Scott was one of those who took advantage of the conditions, with some waves as high as 55ft.

"We've been a good number of years waiting for a storm like this to come in. So a lot of adrenalin, a lot of intensity, and just the ocean really alive and all that power behind it.

The force of the waves was so strong that jet-skis had to be used to tow the surfers out.

They train in a team and are equipped to rescue each other if things go wrong.
