Dare-devil surfers chase adrenalin buzz
Gales which lashed Britain's coastline at the weekend also brought some huge waves for thrill-seeking surfers.
Big wave rider Duncan Scott was one of those who took advantage of the conditions, with some waves as high as 55ft.
"We've been a good number of years waiting for a storm like this to come in. So a lot of adrenalin, a lot of intensity, and just the ocean really alive and all that power behind it.
"To be able to sort of skirt along the edges of that, tap into that power and sort of come away safely was an incredibly feeling - a big rush," he said.
The force of the waves was so strong that jet-skis had to be used to tow the surfers out.
They train in a team and are equipped to rescue each other if things go wrong.
