Ince is Blackburn's Guv'nor

Former England midfielder Paul Ince has been appointed manager of Blackburn Rovers.

He leaves Milton Keynes Dons boss after agreeing a three-year contract to replace Mark Hughes, who recently took charge of Manchester City.

His previous experience came in League Two, where he helped Macclesfield Town avoid relegation then led Milton Keynes to promotion.

Ince gave himself the nickname 'The Guv'nor' during his playing days.

He started his career at West Ham, but also played for Manchester United, Inter Milan, Liverpool, Middlesbrough and Wolves.
