Djokovic the man to stop Federer?

Roger Federer's bid to become the first man during the modern era to win the US Open four years in a row could be scuppered by Novak Djokovic.

Serb Djokovic, who reached the semi-finals at both Roland Garros and Wimbledon earlier this year, has been in impressive form on the US hard courts.

"Is anybody going to beat Federer? Well, I think the guy who has the best chance is Djokovic, who beat him in Canada in the final up there" - Patrick McEnroe

And with the 20-year-old beating Andy Roddick, Rafael Nadal and Federer en route to winning the ATP Masters event in Montreal, the likes of Patrick McEnroe believe he could be the man to deny the world number one.

TV pundit McEnroe said: "Is anybody going to beat Federer? Well, I think the guy who has the best chance is Djokovic, who beat him in Canada in the final up there.

"He's won two Masters titles on hard courts this year and he's also beaten Nadal on hard courts, so he would probably be the one guy.

"Obviously for him to get to his first Grand Slam final is not going to be easy. He's got the pressure on him now probably for the first time - and he'll also be considered one of the favourites now for the first time."
