Shrek 3 heads to Japan
Cameron Diaz has been in Japan to promote her latest flick, Shrek the Third.
The star posed for photos with a life-size Shrek and Japanese actress Norika Fujiwara, who voiced Princess Fiona in the Japanese version of the film.
In the third instalment, Fiona's father King Harold dies, and Shrek sets out to track down rebellious royal relative Arthur so he can become successor to the throne.
Diaz told a news conference: "When we first met Fiona, she was a human princess as we saw her. When she finally accepted herself for who she truly was, she became her ogre-self.
"Ever since she did that, her life became what she always imagined it to be - she found her true love, and she became happy, and she became stronger within herself because she had been true to herself. I admire her so much for that."
Meanwhile, Diaz confessed that she had secret feelings for one of the characters in the film. "I, I love Gingy... I love Gingerbread Man. I love him. I don't want to eat him. I want to be him," she said.
