More4 News
ITN began producing More4 News on Channel 4's free to air digital channel More4 on 10 October 2005. Presented by Kylie Morris, More4 News aims to bring you the key stories of the day in the best tradition of Channel 4 News but also offers a more distinctive and original agenda on important stories that many mainstream news programmes overlook. It has built up an enviable pedigree of reporting from parts of the world where other broadcasters have been unable to operate.
The programme is put together by a team of producer/directors who often shoot and report their own films and often work alone. It has allowed More4 News to be nimble and quick to react to the world around it. This guerilla-style tactics of gathering news gives the programme unrivalled access to some of the important but hard to tell stories of our times - Darfur and Somalia.
It also gives More4 a different focus on stories closer to home. More4 News will bring you the voices and faces that other broadcasters just can't reach.
All in all More4 News at 8pm is an appointment to view for anyone who has an interest in the world and how it works.
