Campaigner's grandson in court

The grandson of anti-gun crime campaigner Pat Regan has been remanded in custody after appearing in court charged with her murder.

The body of Mrs Regan, 53, was discovered in Leeds on Sunday evening. She had been stabbed.

Regan, who appeared before magistrates in Leeds, is also accused of wounding with intent following the stabbing of a railway worker at Leeds station on Sunday.
