Lily Allen says she plans to settle down with her boyfriend in a Victorian terraced property in Hackney.

After the lonely experience of touring across the US earlier this year, the singer realised how much she missed boyfriend Seb Chew.

"While I love handbags and shoes, I think it's more important to have a place to call home," she told a newspaper.

"Buying a house is like buying a dress in an overpriced vintage shop... except obviously there's more people in the equation and buying a dress doesn't come with a 25-year financial obligation!"
