Justin Timberlake has dropped two dates on his US tour to rest his voice.
The pop star was expected to perform in Sacramento and San Jose in California this week.
The FutureSex/LoveShow tour is expected to come to a close this month
But he was ordered by a doctor to take a break from singing and allow his strained vocals to recuperate.
The singer recently performed at the MTV Video Music Awards in Las Vegas, where he picked up four awards - including Male Artist of the Year.
He has now rescheduled the shows for September 23 in San Jose and September 25 in Sacramento.
The FutureSex/LoveShow tour is expected to come to a close this month.
