Joe Calzaghe believes his super-middleweight title unification clash with Mikkel Kessler will be the biggest fight of his career.

WBO champion Calzaghe will face Kessler, who holds the WBC and WBA crowns, at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff on November 3.

"This is the only fight I want because a victory over Kessler will mean the most to my career at this point" - Joe Calzaghe

And while the 35-year-old Welshman's greatest victory to date came in his 12-round rout of Jeff Lacy, he believes Kessler is a bigger scalp to take.

Calzaghe, who will be making the 21st defence of his WBO title, said: "This is the only fight I want because a victory over Kessler will mean the most to my career at this point.

"It will mean more than the beating I gave Jeff Lacy and even more than my win over Chris Eubank, which began my world title reign ten years ago.

"I'm number one in the division today and I'll be number one in the division after we fight. November 3 can't come quick enough."
