Rain spares the West Indies
The third day of the second test between England and West Indies has been abandoned without a single delivery bowled at Headingley.
England will still probably have enough time to finish off the tourists who were put on the ropes during the second day.
The West Indies are currently 22 for two in their second innings having followed on - and trail by 402 runs.
England had scored 570 for seven before bowling West Indies out for 146 in the first innings.
And to make matters worse, West Indies captain Ramnaresh Sarwan is almost certainly not going to bat because of a shoulder injury.
The washout means that the England and Wales Cricket Board will have to refund £450,000 to the spectators who were due to attend the sold-out match.
