Jacko hits the UK
Michael Jackson has jetted in to Britain after spending the past week wowing fans on a whistle-stop visit to Japan.
While there, he also popped in to see thousands of US troops and their families stationed in the country, signing autographs and mingling with crowds.
As the controversial star landed at London's Heathrow airport, he remained tight-lipped about the reason for his visit.
Since being acquitted of child molestation charges at a trial that ended in June 2005, Jackson has mostly kept a low profile, spending time in Bahrain and Ireland.
In November, he sang at an awards ceremony in London, his first public performance since the trial, but his efforts were panned by critics.
