Asda is recalling 115,000 reusable children's bottles because the caps could break off.

The Chinese-made yellow, pink and orange coloured bottles, initially priced at £1.25 each then reduced to 63p, are aimed at children aged three upwards.

The bottles being pulled are an orange-coloured one with a snail and spider design, a pink bottle with a butterfly design and one which is yellow-coloured with stars

An Asda spokesman said: "Although nobody has been hurt, we are asking anyone who has bought one of these bottles to bring it back to their nearest store where they will be given a full refund."

The bottles being pulled are an orange-coloured one with a snail and spider design, a pink bottle with a butterfly design and one which is yellow-coloured with stars.

Only bottles with specific barcodes are subject to the recall, Asda said.

Further details are available on the supermarket's customer relations helpline on 0500 100 055.
