Teenage girl held over knife death

A 17-year-old girl has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a man was knifed to death.

Detectives launched a murder inquiry after a 19-year-old man died from stab wounds he suffered at a property in Keighley, West Yorkshire.

The man was taken to the town's Airedale General Hospital but later died from his injuries.

Police and ambulance crews had been called to the property shortly after midnight to reports of a disturbance.

A force spokesman said: "A 17-year-old local woman has been arrested on suspicion of murder and is currently in police custody.

"An investigation into the incident is ongoing."
