Worthington pleased to share goals around

Northern Ireland manager Nigel Worthington believes his team proved they do not rely solely on David Healy by beating Georgia 4-1.

Healy did score, but Kyle Lafferty grabbed two goals and Peter Thompson scored the fourth at Windsor Park.

Worthington said: "We put them under pressure, created chances and they showed me they could score goals.

"Everyone talks about the goals David Healy scores and rightly so, but we have shown there is more to our game than just that."

Before the match, Healy received an award from Uefa president Michel Platini in recognition of his record 13 goals during the Euro 2008 qualifiers.

Worthington added: "David got a goal on his big night which was pleasing for everyone, but I was delighted for Kyle Lafferty to get a couple of goals and he knows he has to keep doing that."

Healy also scored an own goal, diverting he ball into his own net as he tried attempted a tackle in his own penalty area.
