Lily bids for Stateside success

Lily Allen is aiming to succeed where Robbie Williams and Oasis have failed - by conquering America.

Lily quit her promotional tour several weeks ago and jetted back to Britain exhausted by her gruelling schedule.

But all eyes are back on the Smile star as she returns to the States to make her mark on US music bigwigs.

Natasha Bedingfield is one woman who knows how its done. She has taken the industry by storm in America and has some words of advice for Lily.

She said: "You have to start from scratch. You have to do the American dream and be willing to start from the bottom up.

"I was singing to thousands of people over here but I went to America and I was singing to 20."
