The new Coen Brother's movie Burn After Reading starring Brad Pitt and George Clooney has premiered at the Venice Film Festival.

It's the first movie to be made by the prominent film makers Ethan and Joel Coen following their awards-winning film, No Country for Old Men.

"I've been trying to get into a Coen brother's film for many years so when they called, I was very happy to be there" - Brad Pitt

The film's four leading actors Brad Pitt, George Clooney, John Malkovich and Tilda Swinton joined the Coen brothers at the film's premiere.

Brad Pitt spoke to the press after the screening: "I've been trying to get into a Coen brother's film for many years so when they called, I was very happy to be there.

"Like George, after reading the part, which they said which was hand-written for myself, I was not sure if I should be flattered or insulted."

The dark spy comedy resolves around the attempt of two clueless gym employees to blackmail a disgraced CIA agent after they find his memoir at their gym.

The movie is set to be released in Britain in October.
