Law in 'snapper assault' claims
Jude Law has allegedly been arrested for assaulting a photographer.
The Sleuth star was said to have tried to grab the snapper's camera outside of his home in West London.
The 34-year-old was reportedly taken to Marylebone police station where he was held on suspicion of causing actual bodily harm. He was later bailed to return in October.
A police spokesman said: "A 34-year-old man from Maida Vale was arrested yesterday on suspicion of actual bodily harm after voluntarily attending a London police station.
"The arrest followed an allegation of assault yesterday at a residential address in Maida Vale. The 34-year-old man was released on bail to a date in October pending further inquiries."
A spokeswoman for Law said: "The incident is in the hand of his lawyers."
Law recently returned from the Venice Film Festival where he promoted his new movie Sleuth with Sir Michael Caine.
Law's spokesman was unavailable for comment.
