Scorsese and DiCaprio team up again

Hollywood actor Leonardo DiCaprio is teaming up again with legendary director Martin Scorsese for a new film.

The Oscar-winning film-maker has chosen DiCaprio to star in Shutter Island, which starts shooting in the US next year.

The film is based on the Dennis Lehane novel and tells the story of a US security officer who investigates the disappearance of an escaped murderer

The collaboration will be the fourth for the blockbuster team who last worked on Oscar-winning The Departed last year.

And the author seems to be a firm favourite for Hollywood's film-making elite, with two of his other novels making it to the big screen.

Mystic River was made by Clint Eastwood and Gone Baby Gone, was a directorial debut for Ben Affleck.
