Shakira wows Mumbai

Hip-wiggler Shakira has been shaking her stuff in the Indian city of Mumbai.

Hundreds of fans queued for hours to catch a glimpse of the Colombian singer on her Oral Fixation World Tour.

And Shakira didn't disappoint. Much unlike other celebrities who stay behind dark glasses and heavy security, Shakira walked up to waiting fans, giving hugs and blowing kisses.

Having sold close to 40 million copies of her albums worldwide, Shakira is eyeing the Indian market for her latest and forthcoming releases.

And if the popularity of her Mumbai show is anything to go by, it looks like she will do well.

She is coming to the end of her 99-date tour and she heads off to Egypt and Spain next.
