Double-o Craig signs for £13m
Daniel Craig has reportedly signed a £13 million contract to reprise his role as James Bond.
The 39-year-old is expected to receive £5 million for the next film, and another £8 million for a third outing.
The fee is said to be twice the amount he originally negotiated with production company Eon, and it could set him up to become Britain's highest-paid actor.
Leon Forde of movie magazine Screen International, said: "The fact is that he's become integral to the success of the Bond franchise and I'm not surprised that he's been given a new contract.
"Eon are obviously doing everything they can to keep him on board."
Chester-born Craig first made his name in Our Friends In The North in 1996 before starring in films such Sylvia, Road To Perdition and Munich.
