European spacecraft ready for blast-off

The most complex spacecraft ever developed in Europe is set to blast off.
The ten-metre long, 21-ton Jules Verne will take supplies to the crew of the International Space Station.

An Ariane 5 rocket will power the unmanned craft, called an Automated Transfer Vehicle, into orbit more than 200 miles above the earth.

Blast-off is scheduled for the early hours of Sunday morning at the European Space Agency's spaceport in Kourou, French Guiana.
Latest weather forecasts say the launch should enjoy perfect conditions.
