Alisha Bennett has vowed the show is not over - despite being booted off the X Factor on Saturday night.

The 23-year-old found herself in the bottom two after her rendition of Young Hearts Run Free, with the judges opting to let girl-group Hope stay on.

"This is not the end of the road for me" - Alisha Bennett

During a press conference, Alisha admitted that she was upset but said she is determined to stay strong.

She said: "Now I've started, I just want to keep on going. I don't want to stop. If anything, it has made me stronger. I really want to get somewhere with this. Singing, presenting, face modelling, whatever you want me to do, I'm there.

"I'm on fire," she smiled, "I went to the producer's office last night and said, 'Give me a job'. I haven't come to this situation to go back to normality. I'm going to strive and push myself to get somewhere in this business, whatever it takes."

"This is not the end of the road for me."
