Will Smith has been honoured on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

The two-time Oscar nominee was joined by his family and pal Tom Cruise at the ceremony to mark his achievements in the entertainment industry.

He said: "When I look around and I see all of you coming out here to support me and honour my family like this, it makes me feel like I'm not doing enough.

"It makes me feel like, to have all of this I have to change the world. I've got to use all of this. I've got to take this position. I've got to take this time.

"I've got to seize this moment to do something that changes the world, to do something that creates and uses this energy to make people's lives better."

The actor is getting set to hit the big screen in I Am Legend, a post-apocalyptic sci-fi horror film. He plays Robert Neville, possibly Earth's only survivor of a man-made virus.
