Dowie set to become Sky Blues boss
Speculation is rife that Iain Dowie is set to be revealed as the new boss of Championship side Coventry City.
Dowie is set to take over from caretaker boss Adrian Heath, who took the helm when Mickey Adams was sacked on January 17.
The former Oldham and Crystal Palace boss has been out of football since leaving Charlton last November.
Dowie had knocked back previous invitations to return to management - turning down the recent vacancy at Hull while being strongly tipped to follow new owner Milan Mandaric to Leicester.
The former Northern Ireland international striker's first game in charge could be against one of the clubs he played for, Southampton, on Tuesday.
Dowie will be hoping his time with the Sky Blues will be longer and more productive than his tenure at the Valley.
He was in charge for just 12 Premiership games and the Addicks were bottom of the table when he parted company with the club.
