Amy offered top designer deal

After conquering the charts with her soulful sounds Amy Winehouse looks set to do the same in the world of fashion.

The singer may be set to become the next British style icon after apparently scooping a lucrative offer from top fashion designer, Roberto Cavalli.

The star has reportedly been offered a deal that will see her wear the fashion guru's outfits out-and-about in public, in return for a lifetime supply of custom-made outfits.

It's thought the Italian designer sees Winehouse as the new trend-setter, and is eager for her to bring celebrity kudos to his luxury brand.

According to one newspaper, the idea came after Cavalli's close friend Victoria Beckham told him she was a fan of Winehouse's style.

A source reportedly said: "Cavalli was suitably taken in by what Victoria had to say that he's now determined to get Amy on board."

A spokesman for Winehouse said: "Amy is considering many offers at the moment."
