Cameron Diazzles in Peru

Cameron Diaz may have just been in London and Taiwan to promote her new film Shrek the third, but the star is now soaking up the sights in Peru.

While most of us hope to get away from it all when on holiday, for a Hollywood star like Diaz it is proving almost impossible.

The 34-year-old arrived in the city of Cuzco in the Andes where she is expected to stay until June 26th.

Diaz made the most of local customs by donning traditional clothes from the Incan capital and got stuck in on her first day by hiking up the steep and narrow cobblestone streets, which are some 11,000 feet above sea level.

Next on Cameron's hit list were some nearby valleys and ruins. And lucky old cameramen who followed her there even got a friendly wave.

It's thought Justin Timberlake's ex-girlfriend and her entourage of nine will tour the legendary lost city of Macchu Picchu before heading home.
