Probation sentence for Kid Rock
Kid Rock has been sentenced to a year's probation and fined $1,000 (£502) for his part in a fight at a Georgia restaurant last year.
The star, born Robert J Ritchie, also received 80 hours of community service and six hours of anger management counselling.
Rock pleaded no contest at a court in DeKalb County, Georgia, to one count of simple battery.
Four other counts of battery were dropped over the incident in which he allegedly punched and kicked a customer at a Waffle House restaurant in DeKalb County, east of Atlanta in October 2007.
In the same month, Rock's album Rock N Roll Jesus debuted at number one, a first for the Michigan-born musician.
In May, it was certified platinum, according to his Web site.
